Valentine's Day Cards
I loved the simplicity of a similar card when I saw it in a magazine and had to try it out. I masked the top portion of the card with sticky notes and stamped the bottom with the damask stamps from the Wings Workshop on the Go kit. The top card uses white embossing powder onto our new craft paper (avail Feb 1st!) and the bottom card uses Smoothie ink on White Daisy cardstock. The "LOVE" stamp is from one of my all time favorite Valentine sets - D1254 Soul Mates.

Great Recipe
I made this for the family tonight and my picky eaters LOVED it. I'm sure it wasn't the lowest calorie dish, but it did get some spinach in my kiddos. I got the recipe from Cooking for Kids. Their weekly newsletter is great, so check it out! http://kidscooking.about.com/od/pastarecipes/r/chicken-pasta.htm

Jan SOTM: Find Your Style - Shoe Card
This card was completely inspired by the talented Vicki Wizniuk. I love the color combination with the baroque stamps in the background. We're making this card at my workshop on Saturday. (It's currently full, but let me know if you and a few friends would like to make this card too!)

Flip Book Calendar - Finally December
I hope you've enjoyed seeing my Level 1 Wings 6x6 Calendar pages. We're at the final page - December. I used the kid's Christmas photo for this page. If you'd like to make an album similar to mine you can get all of the supplies on my website here: http://www.angelat.myctmh.com/ Just go to Shop Online and do a search for the following items. It is SO easy to just cut the 12x12 pages into quarters to create 12 preprinted 6x6 scrapbook pages, plus you have one page, extra cardstock, and Stickease left over for cards or other pages!

Flip Book Album - November
It actually snowed in November in Western Washington this year! We haven't played in the snow since, so we're just going to have to head up to the mountains sometime soon. That's the beauty of Washington State - we have the best of both worlds: the beach AND the mountains.

Jan Stamp of the Month: Find Your Style - Bird
This was a fun card to make and I hope you like it. Can you tell I'm having a ball with the January Stamp of the Month and the Wings Paper?! The bird is beautiful stamped and I just love the saying that comes in the stamp set. Here are some notes in order to make the card:
- The saying is stamped with Bamboo ink on the small Colonial White cardstock to create a background. It reads, "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and will sing it back to you when you forget the words." Awww, isn't that sweet?
- The bird is inked with Juniper ink and I added New England Ivy ink around the edges with a sponge prior to stamping on the Colonial White Cardstock
- The bird piece is matted with New England Ivy Cardstock and foam tape is used to make it pop off the card
- The tiny twigs are tied onto the card with Twill Ribbon

Cute Notecards - Thanks to Lisa Stenz
Lisa Stenz is a talented fellow CTMH Consultant and she had these adorable notecards on her blog the other day. She made a gift set and I just thought they were SO cute. I used some of our new colors so you can see what they look like: Smoothie, Pacifica, Pear, and Sky. I used MS Publisher to create the lines and the name on the card, then stamped the Treasure Life stamp set (first and second generation.) Enjoy!
Flip Book Calendar - September
Gee, can you tell these two cuties are related? My mom had the opportunity to teach my daughter in her Kindergarten class last year. Scroll down to see the other pages.

Jan Stamp of the Month: Find Your Style
This is a really simple 3x6 card using this month's Stamp of the Month: Find Your Style. I also used some Bitty Sparkles for the necklace, a 1x6 piece of background paper from the Wings Level 2 packet, and a burgundy satin bow. Let me know if you have any questions!

Flip Book Calendar - May
May is my son's birthday month, so he's featured in this fun page. The Wings paper is fairly feminine, but the combination of this sheet of paper and the stickease work really well with the photo. I think this is one of my favorite pictures of my son. I took it outside B.J.'s restaurant where we had dinner on his birthday. The lighting was perfect that evening and the side of the restaurant provided a great background. Of course, it helps to have a very handsome young man too. (But, I'm not biased, right?) Flip Book Calendar - January
Every year I make new pages for a Flip Album calendar that I gave my sister for Christmas several years ago. The photos on the calendar pages pertain to the month from the previous year (i.e. January 2011 page has a photo that was taken in January 2010). Last year she gave me the previous year's pages so I could keep them. Isn't she so sweet? I just change out the calendar to the correct year and now I have one scrapbook page for every month of the year! Perfect! This year I took some photos before I gave her the new pages for Christmas. I used the new Wings Level 1 pages and Stickease. They were SO fast because I just cut the 12x12 preprinted layouts into forths! For the next 12 days I will post each month for you, so keep checking back! Thanks for looking...
