January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you are new to the hop, here is how it works: About 60 fellow Close to My Heart consultants all make a piece of art (scrapbook page, card, specialty item, etc) using the Stamp of the Month. They all include links to each other's blogs so that anyone can begin on any blog and hop from blog to blog which eventually becomes a big circle. Easy right?! It is a great way to view many different ideas using one stamp set which is available only that particular month, so don't miss out! Now let's get started. You can start here or if you've come here from Sarita Schraeder’s blog then you are on the right track. Here is what I created with the stamp set:

It's a door hanger that has 4 little cards inside that are shown on the left.  I used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to cut out everything!

Supplies:
January Stamp of the Month: Little Reminder
Roxie Workshop on the Go
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge

Here are the stamps that come in the set:

Now hop on over to the amazing Melissa's blog to see what she created with the stamp set!

Happy Holidays Card #2

Here is another one of my Christmas cards this year. I love love love the Wonderland Paper Packet.  Can you see the little touches of Prisma Glitter on the snow?  It is amazing how it can make the whole card more interesting!

Card Box Using Art Philosophy Cartridge

Our Inky Finger's group did a box swap at the Christmas party and here is the box I made.  I covered a plain white tin card box with Close to My Heart papers and glued about 40 roses to the top.  The roses were SO EASY because the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge cut them out!  All I had to do was roll them up and glue them down!

I added a cream opaque pearl to the center of all the flowers.

Santa Pillow Boxes

I made these for my Customer Appreciation Day last weekend. I used my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to make the pillow box and buckle.  The pillow box was cut at 5" and the buckle was 3/4."  I think they turned out pretty cute!

Hot Chocolate Card

We made these fun hot chocolate cards at my workshop.  I got the idea from a wonderful fellow consultant named Kelly Brandt.  Here are directions:
Use a 5x12 piece of card stock and score it at 1 1/2", 3", 5 1/2", and 8 1/4" then fold accordion style.  Decorate with papers to fit your sections.  Fold a cocoa packet to fit in the largest section.  Hold the card closed with a cardstock band like shown above or ribbon.  Enjoy!
