November Stamp of the Month: Cherish the Day Blog Hop

Pin It Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! If you are new to the hop, here is how it works: About 60 fellow Close to My Heart consultants all make a piece of art (scrapbook page, card, specialty item, etc) using the Stamp of the Month. They all include links to each other's blogs so that anyone can begin on any blog and hop from blog to blog which eventually becomes a big circle. Easy right?! It is a great way to view many different ideas using one stamp set which is available only that particular month, so don't miss out! Now let's get started. You can start here or if you've come here from Wanda's blog then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, you can see a full list of participants here.

The stamps fit perfectly on a 1 x 2 piece of cardstock or use the Cricut Cartridge to cut out a ticket shape!  You can see the tag cut out around the January Stamp below.

I created an interchangeable calendar using a CTMH Memory Game Box and used the Stamp of the Month below.  There is one "coaster" for each month inside the box.  It has a monthly calendar on one side and a photo on the other side.  I adhered the flap of a 3x3 plastic envelope to the top of the box so the envelope hangs over the back.  The calendars/photos fit inside the envelope to interchange throughout the year. The side that has the magnetic flap is actually now the back instead of the front.  If you would like to make one of these then stay tuned for information on my workshop coming soon!

Folded Tree Card

Here is another version of the Folded Tree Card. You just take three 4x4 pieces of cardstock and score them diagonally. Use a bone folder to fold the score lines. Place one diagonal in front of you, then the other two are placed on top of it side-by-side as show below. Add adhesive to the upper area of the center square and use a small piece of velco on the corner of right hand square so it can hold it together and stand up. The velco will be undone in order to lay flat to mail. Let me know if you have any questions!
