Folded Tree Card

Here is another version of the Folded Tree Card. You just take three 4x4 pieces of cardstock and score them diagonally. Use a bone folder to fold the score lines. Place one diagonal in front of you, then the other two are placed on top of it side-by-side as show below. Add adhesive to the upper area of the center square and use a small piece of velco on the corner of right hand square so it can hold it together and stand up. The velco will be undone in order to lay flat to mail. Let me know if you have any questions!

Home for the Holidays Card

This was a fun card we made at my workshop last Saturday.  We used liquid glass and fun flock on the tree and house to make it look like snow.  It's a little hard to see in the photo, but it's cute in person.  Enjoy!

Flurry Dimensional Elements Card

Ingredients:
4 1/2 x 9 White Cardstock
2 x 2 Juniper CS
2 x 2 Juniper B&T (I used the snowflake pattern from the Jingle paper packet)
Juniper Ink Pad
9" Wide White Daisy Organdy Ribbon
CTMH Soft Set Eyelets (White)
CTMH Soft Set Eyelet Setter
Sponge Dauber
Paper Trimmer (cutting blade)
Any small holiday saying
Flurry Dimensional Elements (3 stars)
Foam Tape
Tiny spray bottle
Juniper or Twilight Reinker
Create a Shade Pearl Paint

All products can be purchases on my website: http://www.angelat.myctmh.com/

Directions:
  • Fold white cardstock into a card
  • Using your cutting blade, cut out a square in the upper-right hand corner
  • Use the square you just cut out as a template to trace the inside of the Juniper Cardstock
  • Cut out the center of the Juniper Cardstock with scissors or your paper trimmer
  • Use the sponge dauber and Juniper ink pad to scrape the edges of the Juniper Cardstock
  • Glue the Juniper Cardstock to the front of the card over the hole
  • Attach background paper to the inside of the card so you can see it through the window
  • In a small spray bottle, combine Create a Shade shimmer paint, reinker, and water (This is not an exact science so just use your discretion as to how much of each to use. Remember that you can always add more reinker, so start with about 4 drops.)
  • Put 3 star dimensional elements on a scrap piece of paper or in a box and spray the paint onto the stars
  • Let dry
  • Using CTMH's Soft Set Eyelet tool, attach white eyelet to the left/middle of the window
  • Tie organdy ribbon around the front of the card and through the eyelet
  • Attach stars on the inside of the card with foam tape so they peek through the window
  • Stamp saying in the lower left hand corner
